David M. Lilienstein, the founder of our firm, has extensive experience in assisting policyholders with bad faith insurance claims and ERISA actions. As a tribute to his experience and skill, he has achieved Advocate status from the National College of Advocacy, American Trial Lawyers Association (now the American Association for Justice). Practicing in all California state and federal courts, he made regular appearances and spoke about insurance issues on KRON-TV’s afternoon news and on KRON-TV’s morning financial news program, Rob Black and Your Money. Further, he has written numerous articles on disability insurance. Mr. Lilienstein also was part of the team that tried the Hangarter v. Provident (UnumProvident, now referred to as Unum) case, which remains a landmark disability insurance case.
